So its been a few weeks but im still here. Work was flat out for a little and I also cut the corner of my finger tip off at work (work in a kitchen). It slowed things down as you can imagine! Posting a few pics to help make up for this!!

Here we have 3 of the planed 5 man guard squad. The snipers "Old Man" and "Blind Odi"

The old man got a tiny (but very scary as is my first real attempt) freehand =I= symbol and I am happy with how it came up.

Next is another Psyker. Wearing a death mask and one of the more ornate members of the band. I keep adding psykers to this troupe. I guess hunting deamons and heritics requires some dipping into the warp.

Lastly we have the penitent and the bounty hunter.

I have been feeling really great about my painting last few days and hopfully there is more progress to follow! Work on my Inquisitor is getting there. He is built and half painted.. so lots more to come!!

A little more time spent on this guy. Once I workout what head I will use I will have a name and his background will come together (i hope!!!) still a lot to do but im happy with him so far.

Its been a slow week for hobby but found time to build and start on this.

2 more guard built and base coated. I really struggle with faces and skin tones in general so see will see how I go.

There is more to know about these men and im learning more about them as I paint. All will be revealed!

=I= Jakob - the untold

Jakob.

The sad one, The Raven, The Omega, The Coldest ... All names he recognizes. He had been known by many others but all spoken in hushed tones, and to the constant disbelief of his comrades on countless worlds. Only his master knows the truth of his past.

A psyker and feared warrior Jakob fights for The Emperor.  Psychic tears stream from his face.  A precursor. Alpha level and silent the tears are followed only by divine justice. Heretics and deamons know his name and the gods of the warp scream for his final day.

Until then he continues his fight whispering the only words "the untold" have ever heard him speak.....

Hey guys. Its been a while since I posted anything. Posting this to try and push my self to finish a Inquisitor and routine with basic back story for each member. This is the first so far un-named leader of a 5 man squad of Imperial Guard. These men were the last survivors of a deamonic infestation.  These men held there position for 4 months. 4 months watching there brothers die. 4 months. Staying strong and untainted by the warp and the hell spawn being thrown at them day and night until finally, all but left with the ammo they could carry, salvation.

A stormbird. A grey stormbird.

Grey as the ash of what remained of there fallen brothers. Grey as ghosts. Knights.

The Inquisitor leading the charge enlisted these men and they are now a invaluable in the hunt and extermination of demons and heritics alike.

This is a WIP and will post a clear shot of this guy when he is finished.

Been a while. Here are a few pics of some work just finished. 

Something different.

Just a quick update on a quick fun project. i got a few star wars novelty toys and decided to paint the doubles. As these are key-chains i finished up with a heavy matte varnish. we will see how it holds up!

Its not easy being green.. dodgy ebay sellers and new paints

He came out ok i think...  

So there is a little bit of a story with this mini.

I bought this mini on ebay about 6 months ago.i was really excited about getting this guy and the price was amazing. under $5. Holy Shit!!!! well a few weeks later it arrived. oh happy happy joy joy!!

well on opening up the package i find a smashed mini cast from a crap cheep plastic.... rage kicked in!! after a few more weeks the seller was taken down and i felt a little better. i put the bag with smashed mini with my other unpainted stuff and forgot about it..

Time passes....

Last week i revived my first minitaire paints. i have wanted to get my hands on these paints for so long but never really had the cash to drop on them. well the wait is over!! i really wanted to get a full set but cant find any here in Australia so i ordered  what i could from my fav aussie online store and payed for express postage so i could get my hands on these badboys sooner! oh the greens,browns and earth tones. i lost my shit! i love these paints.

now to tie in the new paints and the piece of shit knock off and very broken mini.....


well once i got the new paints i needed something to pint to try these out on! cue the forgotten about renegade. he was in so many bits..   head off, arms in 2 to 3 bits, legs snapped.. i did what i could, basecoated him and went to town with the new paints. i started to really enjoy painting it. i couldn't stop. there were so many issues with the mini that i had to try and hide some and fix others but it just added to the fun and the look of the mini. Happy Happy Happy!
